Please Read Prior To Shopping

Tubers Selected For Shipping:

Each tuber is checked for health and viability prior to and during storage, as well as prior to being shipped. Each tuber will have at least one eye in at least one of the following stages when they arrive: 

  •  Dormant: The eye may or may not be visible and can look like a small crack, bump, pimple, or blemish. They will wake up when given proper care.
  • Awake: The eye is starting to open, resembling a tiny pearl. It can be white, pink, red, purple or green.
  • Sprouted: Developing out of the eye, they can be white, pink, red, purple or green.

Tubers come in all shapes and sizes. Size does not play a factor in the viability of the tuber. Even the tiniest tubers are strong and healthy and will produce beautiful blooms. Refunds are not offered based on the size of the tuber.

Labeling

Each tuber is labeled with either the whole or abbreviated variety name, either attached to or directly on the tuber.

Packaging

Each order is put together with thoroughness and care. Please open your package upon arrival and inspect your tubers immediately. If your order is incorrect, wrong or missing variety(ies), you must contact us within two days of delivery. A photo of the delivered tubers and shipped invoice are required. If in error, we will correct the order by sending out replacements. All sales are final after this two-day period.

Shipping

  • Please confirm your shipping information is correct at checkout! We want to get you tubers to you safely and efficiently. New shipping fees will apply if your order has to be reshipped due to an incomplete or incorrect address.
  • We do not ship internationally.
  • We do not offer combined shipping/refund. Shipping charges will apply to each order placed, regardless of the preceding order(s) placed is/are going to the same address.
  • Missing Packages - We are not responsible for lost/delayed/stolen packages or packages either marked as delivered or delivered to the wrong address. USPS will ONLY reimburse the recipient and not the sender. We recommend that customers visit their local Post Office with the tracking number. 
  • Dahlia tubers will be shipped around mid-April when temps remain near 40 degrees in our shipping Zone 6. Shipments requested earlier will be at buyers own risk. Refunds and replacements will not be made on early shipments. Dahlias are perishable. Therefore, once planted there are no refunds or replacements.

Processing Orders

You will be emailed a tracking number for your order. We may print multiple or all labels on the same day. However, we may not put the orders together and ship them same day since multiple packages are being processed. However, we are working diligently to put your order together. So, if you don't see your order moving along, it simply means it's still being packaged. We do not substitute variety. In the event of "OUT OF STOCK" or an unfortunate "CROP FAILURE", a refund will be automatically issued. Orders are packaged in the order they are received.

Guarantee

A few things will void our guarantee. Our policy is limited to the purchase price of the tubers only. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. Deadline for tuber viability is two days after the receipt. We don't ship tubers without eyes. The deadline for variety concerns expires on August 15th.

  • Multiple photos are required to show us the problem. No photos, no guarantee.
  • Dahlias planted out before sprouting cannot be guaranteed as there are several factors that play a role in their growth (or lack thereof): weather, watering, sun, soil, rodents are some.
  • Please reach out in a timely manner with a quick and friendly email with photos addressing your concerns.
  • Cutting or altering the tuber will void the guarantee.

If you are not satisfied with your order, returns are required with our labeled tubers in the original packaging for a "no-questions-asked" guaranteed refund. The package must be returned within 10 days of delivery.
